Automotive Technician Responsibilities
As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer and used vehicles while ensuring exceptional quality and efficiency.
Duties Include:
- Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and identify mechanical and electrical concerns
- Diagnose drivability, electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, and brake system issues
- Conduct diagnostic testing using manufacturer and industry-standard equipment
- Repair or replace components including brakes, tires, belts, hoses, steering, suspension, and other vehicle systems
- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, and preventative maintenance
- Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards
- Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations with service management
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and with high-quality workmanship

Requirements
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of automotive technician or automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
Preferred:
- ASE Certifications
- MOPAR/Stellantis experience
- Dealership service experience
- Advanced diagnostic experience
- Manufacturer training certifications
