 Automotive Service Technician / Auto Mechanic (MOPAR Preferred) – Relocation Assistance Available

Automotive Technician Responsibilities

As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer and used vehicles while ensuring exceptional quality and efficiency.

Duties Include:

  • Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and identify mechanical and electrical concerns
  • Diagnose drivability, electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, and brake system issues
  • Conduct diagnostic testing using manufacturer and industry-standard equipment
  • Repair or replace components including brakes, tires, belts, hoses, steering, suspension, and other vehicle systems
  • Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, and preventative maintenance
  • Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards
  • Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation
  • Communicate findings and repair recommendations with service management
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and with high-quality workmanship

Requirements

 

Qualifications


Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of automotive technician or automotive repair experience
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

Preferred:

  • ASE Certifications
  • MOPAR/Stellantis experience
  • Dealership service experience
  • Advanced diagnostic experience
  • Manufacturer training certifications
