At Izzio, we take pride in crafting high-quality artisan bread. We’re looking for a Production Supervisor to lead specific production lines and ensure daily operations run safely, efficiently, and in line with our quality standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work closely with Line Leads and production teams, solve problems in real time, and help deliver consistent, exceptional product. If you enjoy leading teams on the floor and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.

  

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations for assigned production lines, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality  standards, and production targets 
  • Enforce production specifications including weights, bake times, and process controls 
  • Maintain a strong presence on the production floor, supporting Line Leads and team members 
  • Troubleshoot production issues and communicate adjustments to leadership and cross-functional teams 
  • Monitor product quality and escalate or assist with formula/process adjustments as needed 
  • Perform line start-ups and checks, ensuring equipment readiness and proper settings 
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance safety 
  • Partner with Quality and Sanitation teams to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and safety standards 
  • Train, coach, and develop team members to meet performance and safety expectations 
  • Lead shift huddles and communicate daily priorities and updates 
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation 
  • Support a positive, team-oriented work environment 

Requirements

 What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of 2 years of commercial baking experience preferred 
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment is required
  • A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a production setting 
  • Strong understanding of commercial baking processes is preferred
  • Ability to communicate proficiently in both English and Spanish is required
  • Strong organizational, math, and communication skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment 
  • Maintain regular, consistent attendance & punctuality. Must have a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. 
  • Passion for bread and a positive, team-first attitude

Reports to: Shift Manager 

Location: Thornton and Louisville 

Compensation Range: $31-38

Closing Date: 05/30/2026


Compensation is based on the level of experience, other relevant experience, and requirements of the position. The range provided serves only as a guideline and does not automatically qualify all candidates (internal or external) for the high end of the range.
