The Sales & Marketing Manager plays a key role in growing Tyndale’s Spanish-language publishing presence through international sales support, trade marketing, and rights licensing. This position helps drive visibility, partnerships, and revenue growth across Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking markets while identifying creative new ways to expand Tyndale’s reach globally. The ideal candidate is a collaborative relationship-builder with publishing experience, strong marketing instincts, and a passion for helping impactful content reach new audiences and markets.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute trade marketing initiatives that increase visibility and sales for Tyndale Español and distribution partner titles
- Manage relationships with distributors, publishing partners, and trade accounts across assigned international markets
- Support foreign rights licensing efforts for Spanish and Portuguese titles, including relationship management and contract coordination
- Collaborate with internal marketing and go-to-market teams to align promotional efforts and sales strategies
- Create and adapt marketing assets, presentations, eblasts, catalogs, and sales materials
- Conduct product trainings and sales presentations for distributor sales and marketing teams
- Participate in international book fairs, publishing events, and partnership meetings
- Maintain accurate records for contracts, royalties, licensing activity, and CRM databases
- Provide market feedback and recommendations related to acquisitions, partnerships, and publishing opportunities
Skills and Qualifications Needed
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant publishing experience in areas such as international sales and trade marketing
- Strong understanding of publishing markets and relationship-based business development
- Experience creating or adapting marketing materials
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams, with the ability to collaborate across departments and cultures
- Experience working with CRM systems, databases, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel internationally up to approximately 30% of the time
- Experience in Christian publishing or international publishing preferred
- Personal alignment with and adherence to the Bible as God’s Word, and agreement with our Statement of Faith
After an initial training period, this role is open to a hybrid work schedule, which means you'll be given the flexibility to split time between working from home and in the office.
