Tour of Duty: The time can vary according to the needs of each facility and/or clinic, e.g. 12-hour Tour of Duty, 8-hour Tour of Duty, 10-hour Tour of Duty. Includes nights, weekends and holidays.

Duties and responsibilities may encompass outpatient and inpatient services to IHS patients.

Requirements

· Shall possess a current, valid, unrestricted license to practice nurse-midwifery in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States.

· Current certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board. 

· Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

· Current Basic Life Support (BLS) 

· Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

· Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily within the United States.

· A minimum of twenty-four (24) months of experience certified midwife

· Must be competent in inpatient and outpatient obstetrical/midwifery care.

· Federal Security Clearance — Must be willing and able to complete and pass the federal security clearance process.

Prairie Band, LLC is subject to Title 22: Employment Code of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. In accordance with Title 22, this position is designated as a TIER 2 position. Preference will be given to individuals to the extent required pursuant to Section 22-2-4(B).
