About this role:
The primary objective of this role is the conversion of business mandates into robust system configurations that support the comprehensive loan lifecycle. By collaborating with key stakeholders in risk, operations, and IT, the individual will lead the design and implementation of Salesforce-based workflows while driving end-to-end testing initiatives. The role demands meticulous attention to configuration standards and the maintenance of detailed documentation to satisfy functional and statutory requirements.
In this role you will:
- Support the Bank’s “People First” focus and rules of engagement—maintaining a professional demeanor, working as an active member of the CNOB team, providing all clients excellent service, always striving to make CNOB “A Better Place to Be”.
- Serve as subject matter expert for nCino and Salesforce
- Partner with Salesforce and nCino administrators to align configurations and process flows with platform best practices, transparency, and maintainability.
- Partner with stakeholders across lending, operations, risk, and IT to design workflows, drive testing, increase visibility of nCino data, improve overall processes, and drive system adoption
- Support the daily activities required to maintain and grow our Salesforce.com/nCino capabilities
- Understand, gather and refine complex business needs from a diverse set of stakeholders translating problems into structures requirements and future process flows
- Effectively compile and document business needs into features, scalable configurations, and user stories necessary for system design, development and implementation
- Ensure that the development work maximizes value, addresses data impacts, and aligns with overall business strategy
- Validate configured workflows against business requirements and regulatory expectations
- Coordinate, lead and execute end-to-end testing (including system integration, and user acceptance testing) across multiple teams and environments
- Support change management including documentation, training materials, and go-live readiness
- Provide post-implementation support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Effectively radiate information to business stakeholders
Must haves:
- Strong “People First” interest and ability.
- Deep understanding of commercial banking processes, credit lifecycles, and industry regulations
- Proficient in requirements development, business process modeling, and information systems architecture
- Proven ability to convert complex business needs into functional system behaviors, data models, and integration specifications
- Specialized knowledge of configuring and optimizing the nCino platform within a financial services environment
- Dedicated to improving business efficiency by aligning system capabilities with critical user workflows
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience working on project teams and a solid understanding of the typical roles and responsibilities
- Excellent attention to detail while also having the ability to understand the big picture
- Strong data management and analytical skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Comfort operating in fast-moving and ambiguous environments while maintaining structure and quality
- Proven ability to lead requirements conversations, challenge assumptions, and drive clarity
- 3+ years as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst supporting enterprise platforms
Bonus Points For:
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence or similar Agile tooling
- Familiarity with Banking, commercial lending, or financial services
