Job Description
Serves as a key leader in Pilot’s financial operations, overseeing Oracle EPM as the core platform enabling closeout reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. Owns the EPM roadmap, system performance, and team leadership to ensure scalable, high-quality data and reporting solutions. Leads closeout reporting and quarterbacks monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes within EPM, driving cross-functional alignment, data integrity, and actionable insights to support accurate, efficient, and informed financial decision-making.
Essential Functions
1. Own and execute the strategy, roadmap, and continuous improvement of Oracle EPM as the central platform supporting financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and closeout reporting.
2. Oversee system administration, data integrity and performance to ensure accurate, reliable and scalable financial data and reporting.
3. Lead and develop a team responsible for EPM system maintenance, enhancements, and user support, ensuring operational excellence.
4. Partner with IT, Finance, and external vendors to deliver system enhancements, resolve issues, and optimize platform capabilities.
5. Manage and support EPM functionality across planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, close management, account reconciliation, and reporting.
6. Ensure all closeout reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes are effectively executed within Oracle EPM, maintaining consistency and control.
7. Quarterback monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, coordinating inputs, timelines, and alignment across stakeholders within the EPM framework.
8. Support and enhance closeout reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of insights driven from EPM data.
9. Drive automation, standardization, and innovation in reporting, leveraging tools such as Narrative Reporting (books, batches, notes).
10. Establish and maintain system documentation, governance standards, and data structures to ensure reliable and consistent outputs.
11. Develop and deliver recurring and ad hoc reports, analyses, and data sets directly from EPM to support decision-making.
12. Build deep expertise in financial hierarchies, structures, and KPIs to ensure accuracy across planning and reporting processes.
13. Lead system and process improvement initiatives, applying change management to improve efficiency, user adoption, and data quality.
14. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, data discrepancies, and user inquiries with minimal disruption.
15. Collaborate across FP&A, Accounting, and business teams to align financial assumptions, drivers, and outputs within EPM.
16. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
17. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
18. Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
We are seeking applicants with a local presence in Knoxville, TN or the surrounding communities.

Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, Business Analytics, Computer Science or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience
2. Minimum 3 years in developing, administration and support of Oracle EPM preferred
3. Ability to support month-end reporting cycles, including occasional off-business hours
4. Familiarity with Finance and Accounting principle
Specialized Knowledge
1. Proficient knowledge of all components of Oracle EPM including metadata administration, outlines, dimensions, complex calculations, business rules, calculation scripts, Groovy, creating snapshots, backups, data and artifact migrations, security setup and configuration, data forms, charts & graphs, menus, task lists, as part of application development and configuration
2. Proficient knowledge of creating financial reports (PDF), charts, pivots, dashboards, books, batches, snapshot reports, comments etc., using Narrative Reporting
3. General understanding of ERP and FIS systems required
