We’re looking for a (Land) Surveyor Graduate to join our project starting from February 2027.

This is an opportunity to work on our Major Project (P2D) Papakura to Drury Stage 1B.

Scope: SH1 P2D (Stage 1B) is part of a staged upgrade to improve SH1 and adjacent multi modal travel providing reliability, access, and safety. The project completes a combined 6km of motorway improvements delivering: three laned SH1 in both directions, six new motorway bridges and multiple interfacing local roads, over motorway bridges, Shared User Paths (SUPs) and upgraded utilities.

In our two-year grad programme, you’ll:

  • Build your understanding of surveying methods, instruments and software skills.

  • Assist with site measurements, observations and record‑keeping.

  • Help with a mix of field tasks such as monitoring, set‑out and survey‑related work as you learn how a fast‑paced construction project operates.

  • Work onsite, on real projects with our experienced site teams.

  • Rotate and engage across different parts of the business to discover your strengths.

  • Access training, development programmes, and mentoring.

We’re looking for passionate, future-thinking interns who:

  • Are currently studying towards a Diploma or Bachelors in Surveying from an NZ-recognised tertiary institute (graduating 2025-2026).

  • Hold NZ or Australian citizenship, or NZ permanent residency.

  • Are keen on practical, hands-on contracting work, often on-site and outdoors.

  • Are proactive, organised, and adaptable to change.
