About the Role
Direct Support Professional – Manufacturing Program (Full-Time)
📍 Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 35 Hours Weekly
Join a rewarding career where you can make a direct impact while helping individuals with disabilities succeed in real-world employment settings. As a Direct Support Professional in our Manufacturing Program, you’ll work alongside individuals at local manufacturing companies, providing hands-on job coaching, mentorship, and support to help them build confidence, independence, and workplace skills.
What You’ll Do:
- Coach and support individuals at community-based manufacturing internship sites
- Help participants learn job tasks, workplace routines, and professional skills
- Encourage independence, teamwork, and personal growth
- Assist with resume building, job applications, and interview preparation
- Build positive relationships with local businesses and promote inclusive employment opportunities
- Maintain communication with management and document participant progress
What We’re Looking For:
- Compassionate, dependable, and motivated team player
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Comfortable working independently and in community settings
- Basic computer and communication skills
