About the Role

JOB SUMMARY:

 

Responsible for keeping warps running on a continuous basis through maintenance and overhauling of all looms. Responsible for repairing and maintaining all mechanical operations of sulzer machines; make necessary adjustments and settings to assure proper operation and maximum efficiency. 

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Responsible for repairing looms on warps and replacing them when they run out.
  • Weave pattern changes, pick gear changes.
  • Records all necessary information on tickets.
  • Ensure the sulzer machines run properly to assure first-quality material.
  • Keep all relative parts, chain rack pick gears, etc… in a need and orderly fashion.
  • Must have a mechanical Aptitude.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and safe work practices at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Standing and walking up to 8 hours per day.
  • Frequent lifting, twisting and bending.
  • Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs.
  • Fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
