POSITION SUMMARY
Purpose
The incumbent is responsible to execute large complex projects successfully within approved budget, on-stream schedule, and enhanced site safety accountability with high quality, and to provide project management leadership to all the related team of the executed projects and also required to provide support to Product Line (SPPL) / Proposal Engineer in the major product / project development and bid activities as project representative and is recognized to well understand what electronic grade product, BSGS system and its requirement from customer are thru variable project execution and experience in that area.

- Must be conscientious, innovative, self-motivating, have good interpersonal and communication skills,
and be able to work with a minimum amount of supervision, whilst ensuring high quality of work.
- Must have good English skill in speaking & writing and P/C (MS power point, MS word, MS excel) skill.
- Collection of data, analysis, and measurements to ensure continuous improvement in the areas critical
to Air Product's Quality and business success.
- Should have a good knowledge of company engineering procedures, standards, and specifications,
including knowledge of Air Products EH&S system.
- Must be familiar with the engineering organization, the function of each discipline, how they interact and
the function of the various support groups.
□ Nature as Project Engineer
- Provide project management for all projects (ASU, SPPL, and BSGS) in Industrial Gases
- Provide engineering support to the project development engineer in the preparation of technical proposals, project control budgets and schedules. The focus is to produce them consistently, deploying competitive engineering solutions and execution strategies to enable Air Products to win.
- Manage the technical risks and execution risks to ensure successful project execution.
- Comply with AP Global Engineering Standards and Procedures in the engineering process.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
As Project Manager is responsible to execute project successfully within the approved budget and On-stream schedule with high quality, and to provide project management leadership to all the related team of the executed projects.
1. Supporting Product / Project Development activities to ensure on time delivery of product deliverables and competitive bids with high quality line by line estimates, scope definitions and execution strategy.
2. Accountable and managing a project team for successful execution of project with size over $10MM.
3. Controlling the project cost within budget, ensuring the completion of project within the committed schedule while achieving critical success factors of safety, cost, schedule, quality, and reliability
4. Managing the resource allocation to support project execution activities, while insuring resources and skill sets are matched to the complexity of the opportunities.
5. Ensuring adequate and effective communication within the project team, within and across the regional project execution team and other functional areas, working with Customers, Vendors, and/or JV Partners to accomplish project goals and ensure sharing of best practices, lessons learned, and feedback.
6. Working together with regional/global team in line with company work process, sharing best practices, ensuring engineering procedures and work processes are followed in the project execution.
7. Ensuring project is reported out on monthly and quarterly basis following the work processes and right methodology.
8. Ensuring implementation of project change management process for project, and all changes to the baseline are identified and logged in project Baseline Change Database, and approval for all changes are obtained as required.
9. Ensuring project is closed out timely and formally, and that feedback and lessons learned are solicited and documented.
10. Maintaining Customer relationship from the bid through project completion by meeting with Customers to provide regular updates, resolving issues or problems in project, and ensuring customer needs are taken care of.
11. Obtaining all kind of appreciate local permits to meet local requirements, AP standards and customer’s specific requirements.
12. Full support for commissioning / start-up period including resource arrangements allocation and
reporting.
13. Accountable on the Project, Process and Equipment’s performances up to warrantee period.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Looking for experienced employee (More than 10 years experience) with bachelor’s degree in related industry such as Petrochemical, Gas or Engineering & Construction.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Engineering, Management, Business Administration or similar is preferred.
Competent in written and speaking English skill.
Previous SAP Project system experience strongly preferred.
Better to have EPC experiences. but not mandatory required.
Experience as Project related work such as technical or commercial proposal, project, commissioning.
Experience as Project Engineer/Manager is most preferred.
Plant Construction experience in Petrochemical, Gas or Engineering & Construction companies can be helpful.
