Dexcom is a medical device company primarily focused on the design, development and commercialization of continuous glucose monitoring or CGM systems for the management of diabetes by patients, caregivers and clinicians around the world. Since 1999, we have developed innovative technology that has transformed how people manage diabetes making the company the pioneer in glucose sensing for more than 25 years. Dexcom’s Supply Chain Excellence & Advanced Analytics team builds the standardized processes, digital capabilities, and data foundations that enable a resilient, scalable global supply chain. We partner across Planning, Procurement, Operations, Quality, Finance, and IT to drive end‑to‑end visibility, operational discipline, and sustainable growth. Our work strengthens decision‑making, reduces variability, and ensures the supply chain can reliably support Dexcom’s expanding global footprint.

The Sr. Global Inventory Analyst provides analytical support, visibility, and coordination across global inventory health. This role focuses on monitoring inventory performance, identifying early risk signals (excess, aging, and at-risk materials), and supporting data-driven discussions within global inventory governance forums.

This is a hands-on analytical role that partners closely with Planning, Procurement, Operations, Quality, and Finance teams to improve inventory transparency and ensure timely identification and mitigation of risks. The role does not own final decision-making but plays a critical part in enabling insights, alignment, and execution across stakeholders.  

Where you come in:

  • You deliver recurring inventory analytics, use dashboards and insights that support data-driven inventory decisions across regions

  • You monitor global inventory health, identifying early indicators of excess, aging, and at-risk materials

  • You support global inventory governance processes (e.g., Global Inventory Review Board, scrap and disposition cycles) by preparing analysis, tracking actions, and ensuring visibility of risks

  • You partner with Planning, Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams to validate inventory risks and assumptions

  • You help ensure inventory exposure is accurately assessed, clearly communicated, and visible to stakeholders

  • You provide structured inputs and analysis to support cross-functional forums and decision-making discussions

  • You track mitigation actions and help drive follow-through across stakeholders

  • You support alignment on inventory definitions, reporting standards, and key metrics across regions

  • You identify opportunities to improve inventory tracking, reporting, and data quality

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or Master’s degree and 2-5 years 
    equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 years experience
