About the Role
Roles and Responsibilities:
| Financial Reporting & Controllership | - Lead month-end and quarter-end book closure ensuring adherence to group timelines. - Prepare and review Financial Statements. - Drive R2R processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and completeness. - Streamline and automate reporting processes to reduce turnaround times. |
| Audit & Compliance | - Lead Statutory Audit, Internal Audit and Tax Audit - Manage coordination with Big-4 auditors, ensuring timely completion and closure of issues. - Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Income Tax Act, GST, and other statutory regulations. - Responsible for tax-related activities including Income Tax Return filing, Transfer Pricing audit, assessments & scrutiny proceedings. |
| SAP & Systems Management | - Workign Knowledge on SAP FICO, MM, SD, AP, AR, Asset Accounting. - Drive automation initiatives - Ensure internal control adherence (IFC / ICOFR). |
| Costing, Inventory | - Oversee inventory accounting, WIP, standard costing, variance analysis, and Inventory ageing. |
| Fixed Assets | - Monitor fixed assets related activies, CWIP, capitalization, and physical asset verification. |
| Accounts Payable, Receivable & Treasury | - Oversee AP & AR including vendor management, receivables ageing, GR/IR reconciliation, and payment cycles. - Ensure strong working capital management through daily fund reporting and treasury operations. Interface with bankers for |
| Business Processes and Budgetary Control | - Monitor budgetary control mechanisms and build efficiencies in cost control by identifying and leveraging cost reduction opportunities on a continuous basis across functions to ensure various cost optimisation targets. |
| Adhoc Reports & Works | Should be able to prepare adhoc reports and able to meet the requirements of Management and Compliance. |
| Fuctional Competencies | SAP (FICO, MM, SD, AP, AR, AA modules) Ind AS Financial Consolidation GST & Income Tax – working knowledge and compliance MS Excel, MIS & Analytics | |
| Education | CA (Preferably completed CA Final in 3 attempts) | |
| Experience | 10 yrs of total experience, including 8+ yrs of Relavent Experience | |
| Industry Preference | Must have worked in Manufacturing / Auto industry. | |
