As a Hospitality Guard at Murrieta Hot Springs Resort, you will play a vital role in 

maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests and team members. You will be 

responsible for enforcing security policies, monitoring the premises, and responding to any 

security-related incidents in a professional and efficient manner.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:


  • Patrol and Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols of the resort's premises, including the hotel, hot springs facilities, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to detect and deter security threats.
  • Hours: Must be willing and able to work overnight and or early mornings.
  • Guest and Staff Assistance: Provide assistance, direction and information to guests and staff as needed while maintaining a courteous and helpful demeanor.
  • Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, disturbances, and alarms, assessing the situation and taking appropriate actions to resolve issues.
  • Report Writing: Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports, documenting all security related activities and incidents in a clear and concise manner.
  • Access Control: Control and monitor access to the premises, ensuring that only authorized personnel and guests enter restricted areas.
  • CCTV Monitoring: Utilize security camera systems to monitor and review video footage, identifying and addressing security concerns.
  • Guest Safety: Assist in providing a safe and secure environment for guests, including ensuring the safety of guests using hot springs facilities.
  • Emergency Response: Act as a first responder during emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and other safety-related situations. Know how to report proper and descriptive information to all.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to operate a Golf Cart safely.
  • Valid California Guard Card or ability to obtain one.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong observational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR is a plus

Working Conditions:


  • Environment: Outdoor environment; fast paced work, constant interruptions; cool, warm and other varied weather exposure.
  • Physical requirements: Hearing and speaking to exchange information, make presentations and communicate over the telephone/radio; seeing to read, prepare, and proofread documents and view monitors; sitting or standing for extended periods of time; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment; kneeling, bending at the waist, and reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally, to retrieve and store files and supplies; lifting light objects; ability to go to sites apart from primary office to conduct business.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a California Non-commercial Class C Driver’s License.
  • Frequently stand/walk/run, twist/bend/stoop/squat, grasp forcefully, operate hand and/or foot controls, and/or lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 10-40 pounds and 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Occasionally perform seated work, kneel/crawl, climb (ladders, scaffolds, or other) reach/work above shoulders, perform work which requires light/fine grasping.
  • Required to wear an appropriate issued uniform.
  • Ability to work safely in all types of outside weather conditions
  • May be required to work overtime, evenings, and weekends.
  • Required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • May be exposed to noise greater than 80db TWA
  • May be exposed to allergens, pollens, dust and fertilizers, and pesticides.


This is a seasonal position expected to run through October 2026, with the possibility of an extension based on business needs.
