At TexTech Industries, our Fixers play a vital role in keeping our equipment operating smoothly. You'll work hands-on with mechanical systems, troubleshoot challenges, and help ensure the high-quality materials we're known for around the world.

The Needle Room Fixer is responsible for the maintenance and overhauling of all needling equipment and other department(s) equipment as assigned. The Fixer carries out preventive maintenance programs according to specified procedures. The Fixer needs to make most major repairs in the Needling department and must have the ability to locate and diagnose trouble in systems and equipment. Plans and executes appropriate repairs to all types of machines and equipment, including other departments as necessary.

  • Major Responsibilities/Activities:
  • Maintain and repair needle-punch and related mechanical equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
  • Troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
  • Fabricate or replace mechanical parts as needed
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams
  • Keep maintenance records and follow all safety standards
  • Boiler experience or willingness and ability to obtain a boilers license.
  • Must have own hand tools necessary to perform required duties.

Minimum Qualifications: 

High school diploma or GED, extensive mechanical education or experience.
