About the Role

Description


TurnKey Corrections is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Hardware Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware, peripheral devices, and related systems. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Install, configure, test, and maintain hardware equipment. 
  • Replace defective components such as hard drives, memory, power supplies, and motherboards  
  • Perform hardware upgrades and preventative maintenance  
  • Troubleshoot hardware and basic software issues  
  • Ensure equipment complies with company standards and security policies  
  • Collaborate with IT staff and vendors to resolve technical issues  

Requirements

 

Required Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification preferred  
  • Knowledge of computer systems, components, and diagnostic tools  
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills  
  • Excellent communication abilities  
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed
