To deliver exceptional guest service by serving as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and memorable experience throughout their stay while supporting daily front desk and guest services operations.
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Manage check-in and check-out processes with accuracy and efficiency
- Provide personalized guest service, addressing requests, concerns, and special needs
- Offer information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle reservations, room assignments, and guest account management
- Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly
- Resolve guest concerns and escalate issues when necessary
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready front desk and lobby area
- Deliver a high level of hospitality aligned with brand/service standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous guest service, hospitality, or customer-facing experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service-focused with a positive and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills; experience with property management systems is a plus
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- General knowledge of the city where hotel is located and its attractions
- Extensive knowledge of the hotel, it’s services and facilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Frequent walking, reaching, and bending
- Ability to lift-up to 15 pounds occasionally
- Ability to spend extended lengths of time viewing a computer screen
- Front desk and lobby setting within a hotel or resort
- Frequent guest interaction in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
- May involve high-volume periods requiring quick decision-making and multitasking
