Joni Fair Hospice House, a 10-bed Hospice Care facility Home hospice care throughout a 20,000 square mile region in southern Colorado and with branch offices in Cañon City, La Junta, Pueblo, Trinidad and Walsenburg, Colorado.

Position Overview:

As a Hospice CNA, you will offer comfort and support to our patients and their loved ones. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to provide personalized care, emotional support, and physical assistance to ensure that our patients' physical and emotional needs are met. Your compassionate companionship will make a difference in the lives of those you care for.


This position is a home care position. Monday-Friday. 8AM-5PM


Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate, holistic care to hospice patients in their homes or residential facilities.

Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.

Monitor and report changes in patient's condition to the interdisciplinary team.

Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.

Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.

Collaborate with nurses, physicians, social workers, and other team members to ensure coordinated care.

· Competitive Salary - Minimum hourly wage of $18.00

· Mileage reimbursement of sixty-two and a half cents per mile

Requirements

Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Colorado.

Valid non-restricted Drivers License

Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Empathy, patience, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward patients and families.

Prior experience in hospice care is preferred but not required.
