Senior Director of Operations

About the Role:
The Senior Director of Operations will lead and oversee the operational functions of the organization to ensure efficiency, scalability, and alignment with strategic goals. This role is pivotal in driving process improvements, managing cross-functional teams, and optimizing resource allocation to support business growth. The Senior Director will collaborate closely with executive leadership to develop and implement operational strategies that enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. They will be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Ultimately, this position aims to create a high-performing operational environment that supports the company’s long-term success and competitive advantage.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in operations management, including leadership roles.
- Proven track record of managing large teams and complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of operational best practices, process improvement methodologies, and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related discipline.
- Experience in the specific industry relevant to the company’s operations.
- Familiarity with advanced data analytics tools and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation initiatives within operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage multiple teams across various departments to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Analyze operational performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to plan budgets, forecast resource needs, and manage operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies to mitigate risks and maintain quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Oversee vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Facilitate cross-departmental communication and coordination to support organizational goals.
