About the Role

SUMMARY:

The Lexington Clinic Foundation (“Foundation”) Executive Director serves as the general manager and primary administrative leader of the Foundation. Operating in a strategic dyad partnership with the President, the Executive Director provides guidance and assistance to the President and Board of Directors in all activities. This role is responsible for implementing the Foundation's strategic goals, providing leadership toward its philosophy and mission, and overseeing the distribution of funds for charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes. The Executive Director manages all operations, including fundraising, event planning, budgeting, and compliance.

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 Education: Undergraduate Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in Non-Profit Management, MHA, or MBA preferred. Experience: 5+ years of experience in 501(c)(3) operations, specifically within healthcare administration or collaborating with physician-led boards. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Knowledge of graphic design and fundraising/donor management software is a plus. Credentials: Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a reliable vehicle for local travel.

Required Competencies

Leadership: Initiative-taking, goal-oriented, and able to lead in a team environment. Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication, relationship building, and public speaking skills. Administrative: Strong ability to facilitate meetings, write policies, develop requests for proposals (RFPs), and edit proposal materials. Multitasking: Proven ability to prioritize competing projects and manage complex schedules.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

 Must be self-motivated, goal oriented and focused; strong oral and written communication skills, relationship building and public speaking skills; experience with meeting facilitation, writing policies, procedures, requests for proposals, reviewing grants, developing plans and the ability to direct and edit proposal material; work in a team environment; prioritize and multi-task. Must be able to drive and have a valid driver’s license.

PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:

 Physical guidelines include the ability to move, traverse, position self, remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to eight hours a day. The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle.
