Job Description

As a Clean Utilities, you will support the Construction Manager in the management and coordination of contractors responsible for the following systems: Compressed air, generation and Generation and distribution of purified water, Generation and distribution of pure steam, process drainage piping and plant wastewater treatment tank.

You can be based in Madrid, but the role requires travel to Salamanca four days per week.
You can be based in Salamanca; however, accommodation is not provided.

Your future responsabilities : 

  • You will be responsible for the management, coordination, and supervision of all activities related to their discipline.
  • You will ensure that construction drawings are aligned with the coordinated BIM model, are extracted from it, and that contractors are working from the latest updated drawings.
  • You will verify that execution is in line with the previously approved design.
  • You will support the Cost Manager in cost control and change management within their discipline, including reviewing payment certificates and change orders.
  • You  will be responsible for monitoring and controlling activities within their scope in terms of contractual compliance, schedule, quality (via the Design/Engineering team), and safety (via the HSE coordinator).
  • You will coordinate (in support of the Commissioning Manager) the start-up and commissioning activities for systems within their discipline.
  • You will ensure a smooth transition from Mechanical Completion to commissioning by managing punch lists and final project documentation for their systems.
  • You will attend system walkdowns, document findings, and ensure that systems are properly completed and handed over to the client.

Qualifications

We are looking for a skilled and proactive person  who brings both technical expertise and a hands-on approach to complex industrial projects:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Technical Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong communication skills in Spanish and English (B1)
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar role within industrial or pharmaceutical project environments
  • Solid experience using MS Project, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and Navisworks
  • Background in pharmaceutical facilities and/or industrial construction projects is highly desirable
  • Willingness to be based on site in Salamanca and travel as needed
