Job Description:

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The EHS Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving health and safety programs to achieve full compliance and zero incidents. This role proactively drives continuous improvement, EHS cultural excellence, and sustainability initiatives, while supporting the management team in executing 3M EHS priorities, metrics, goals, and requirements. The EHS Engineer ensures compliance with applicable regulations and 3M policies by conducting EHS training, inspections, and risk assessments, and by effectively executing site EHS programs. This position directly contributes to 3M’s commitment to protecting employees, the environment, and sustainable business operations at the Hwaseong plant.

• Maintain compliance with local EHS regulations and 3M Policy (환경/안전/보건 관련 법규 및 3M 규정 준수)

• Manage and maintain the EHS management system (안전 보건 환경 경영 시스템 운영 및 관리)

• Conduct risk assessment and implement mitigation actions (위험성 평가 실시 및 개선 )

• Plan and execute EHS programs (안전관리 및 EHS 프로그램 운영 )

• Coordinate EHS training and audits, and maintain EHS records (EHS 교육, 감사 및 기록관리)

REQUIRMENT

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

• Safety-related license (산업안전기사)

• Comprehensive knowledge of EHS regulations and practices

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

• Strong professional ethics, accountability, and teamwork mindset

• Type: 정규직 (수습기간 3개월)

• Location: 한국3M 화성공장 (경기 화성시 장안면 장안공단 1길 18)
