About the Role

We have a commitment to understand, define, and deliver what our guests want and represent our company by being professional and courteous to all.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Completes setup and operation of Audio/Video for all groups, conventions, banquets and special events of Angel of the Winds casino and its remote properties</li><li>Serves as the audio mix engineer for bands and live entertainment to include setting up the stage, adjusting levels, mixing the show and striking the stage after the event</li><li>Assists in the scheduling of AV needs in the meeting, conference and banquet rooms.</li><li>Act as liaison between performers and Angel of the Winds patrons and staff.</li><li>Performs routine and preventative maintenance on AV equipment on a scheduled basis.</li><li>Works with casino trainers to ensure that A/V equipment and support to cover the lesson plans are available.</li><li>Works closely with banquet and event staff to ensure availability of technologies for guest &amp; presenters (i.e., internet, TV, computer, audio, video, etc.)</li><li>Supports casino digital signage systems, media players, networked video and DVLED screens along with related audio/visual systems</li><li>Installs AV hardware including TV&rsquo;s, mounts, speakers, cabling and related equipment</li><li>Provides AV technical support for the casino through the ticketing system, ensuring all work is documented with accurate time, communication and detailed notes.</li><li>May train users in startup and basic use of A/V equipment as required.</li><li>Attends all mandatory department, casino and/or training meetings.</li><li>May assist other staff as needed.</li><li>Ensures compliance with Tribal, State, Federal, and NIGC regulations.</li><li>Ensures control/protection of company assets as applicable.</li><li>Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Exceptional guest services</li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age.</li><li>At least 1-year experience running live sound.</li><li>Familiarity with various PC hardware and software platforms desired.</li><li>Understanding of installation, configuration and troubleshooting processes for software, hardware, networking and accessory equipment desired.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.</li><li>Must have strong attention to detail, be highly organized and computer literate.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment desired.</li><li>Skills in identifying and resolving problems under pressure conditions.</li><li>Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. &nbsp;</li><li>Ability to write short correspondence.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate information in a one-on-one situation and small group situations.</li><li>Requires the ability to independently perform all the duties of the position efficiently and effectively.</li><li>Ability to work days, nights, weekends, special events, holidays, overtime and on call is required</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Certificates, Licenses, Regulations</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/3 gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.</li></ul><p><br><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment</strong></p><p>Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement daily with sedentary work, occasional bending and crouching. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation. There are no adverse conditions, but employee is exposed to tobacco smoke on a regular basis.&nbsp;</p>
