About the Role

Interstate Group, the industry leader in the manufacturing and sales of cargo trailers, is seeking a Maintenance Technician in the Wood Shop for its Nampa, Idaho production plant. We also operate over 80 store locations and have more than 450,000 satisfied customers.


Job Details:

  • Support our customers by contributing to the high quality construction process of Interstate trailers

  • Weld raw materials to build different types of trailer parts

  • Conduct preventative maintenance throughout the entire Manufacturing Plant. This includes, but is not limited to, welders, forklifts, tractors, power tools, hand tools, shop trucks, roll up doors and paint equipment

  • Help keep the inside and outside of the Manufacturing Plant clean and organized

  • Prepare custom trailers

  • Consistently meet high quality and control standards

  • Learn and become proficient in other production roles in order to support our entire team as needed

Requirements: 

  • Welding experience is preferred.

  • Work with the following tools: grinder, chop saw, oxygen and acetylene torch, general hand tools, and more

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment

  • Ability to be on your feet for a long period of time

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds


Our Maintenance Technician is professional, team-oriented, and shows enthusiasm for uncompromised attention to detail.


Work Hours: Monday - Thursday | 7:00am - 5:30pm, Fridays | 7:00am - 12:00pm

Pay Rate:  $18 / hour + bonus
