About The Company
DCS is a covenant Christian school, serving Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Brookhaven, Doraville, Chamblee, and many other surrounding neighborhoods in Atlanta. Our school grew out of a very direct calling from God, combined with a desire to provide exceptional Christian education to children who live in Dunwoody and surrounding communities. Our mission is to partner with parents to develop children who are grounded in Christ-like character, possess exceptional knowledge, and are prepared to embrace life’s opportunities and challenges. Dunwoody Christian School is uncompromising in excellence, academics, and spiritual formation. When I think about why a parent would want to send their child to Dunwoody Christian School, three words come to mind. The first word is commitment. We commit to partnering with you to develop in your child godly character, a proficient intellect, and Christian values. We are also committed to serving you, our students’ parents, and to others in your family and circle of friends who care about your child’s well-being and development. You can read more about our commitments here. The second word is community. Your child will be entering a community that is loving, safe, engaging, challenging, and nurturing. Because we are a covenantal school, your child will be surrounded by staff, teachers, and peers who all share their Christian beliefs and values. DCS’s unique community will facilitate the growth of roots, which will both establish your child in Christian values and truth, and prepare them to thrive in new areas of growth. The third word is Christ-centered. As DCS grows, one aspect of our culture that will not change is our Christ-centeredness. Whether our Board is making a policy-decision, our teachers are interacting with your child, or we are engaged in a spirited athletic competition, it is our firm commitment that everything we say and do within the DCS community is Christ-centered and God honoring.
