About the Role

Business Area Commercial serves companies with up to 500 employees across the Nordics, from startups to established enterprises. As customer expectations evolve, digital capabilities are key to driving growth. In Digital & CRM we bring together people, business, and technology to create value and seamless experiences for our customers.
 

We are now looking for a Business Controller to join our Digital & CRM organization and its management team. Here you will contribute with data-driven insights to support our journey to become the leading digital insurer in the Nordics.
 

About the role

As a Business Controller you play a key role in shaping business decisions through data-driven insights. Working closely with the Head of Digital & CRM and the management team, you act as a trusted advisor, challenging assumptions, highlighting opportunities, ensuring decisions are grounded in data and actions are aligned with our goals.

In this role, you:

  • Analyze digital performance and customer behavior to identify what drives results

  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that support decision-making

  • Define and implement relevant KPIs to measure performance and business impact

  • Contribute to financial planning, forecasting, and reporting

  • Collaborate closely with data and analytics teams to improve how we use and understand data

  • Through your understanding of digital results and customer behavior, you will help the business take better-informed actions and prioritize the right initiatives.

The role combines traditional business controlling with a strong focus on digital business models. You will help strengthen a more data-driven way of working and contribute to improving how we understand digital sales and customer behavior across the organization.

About the team

You will be joining a team of 5 highly skilled Business Controllers located in different Nordic countries and working with varied parts of the organization. We find common ground in our expertise and continuously strive to improve through knowledge sharing and feedback. We place high value in having fun at work and together we create a safe and motivating work environment. In this position you will report to Head of Business Control in Commercial. 

Who are you?

You are comfortable working with data and use it to solve real business challenges. Curiosity helps you explore what drives performance and understand underlying patterns.

You communicate clearly and adapt your message to different audiences, making complex topics easy to understand. You are comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders and constructively challenge perspectives when needed.

You take ownership of your work, structure tasks independently, and manage priorities effectively. At the same time, you value collaboration and contribute to strong working relationships across teams.
 

You also have 

  • At least 3+ years of experience as a business controller or in a similar role within finance or insurance

  • A relevant university degree within a quantitative field

  • Demonstrated experience working with data to generate insights and support decision-making

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to combine and interpret data from different sources

  • The ability to communicate insights clearly, both verbally and in writing

  • Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language
