Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) PRN  *Safety Sensitive Job     


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patient care within a supportive and professional environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality nursing services while adhering to safety standards and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and established nursing protocols

- Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatments

- Assist with patient assessments, medication administration, and wound care

- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, especially in safety-sensitive environments

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care activities

- Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care instructions

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid RN or LPN license in good standing

- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred

- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

- Flexibility to work PRN shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Knowledge of safety-sensitive procedures and compliance standards

- The applicant must be a graduate of an approved School of Nursing.  

- They must have a valid Registered Nurse License or temporary Permit, and a valid BLS Certification.     

- ER RN are required to a valid ACLS, PALS, and TNCC Certification.
