When Iredell Memorial Hospital opened in 1954, we were a 100-bed hospital with a mission focused on the well-being of the community we serve. About the Role

Job Summary: The Medical Office Assistant is responsible for all aspects of the medical office and may include responsibilities in the front office and clinical areas. Has full access to patient health information.


Schedule: Saturday 11a-11p, Sunday 11a-11p

Location: Iredell Urgent Care, 1540 East Broad Street, Statesville, NC

Requirements

Job Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Clerical experience including, but not limited to, scheduling, payments, billing/coding, medical records, and a working knowledge of all aspects of medical office equipment. Excellent computer skills including knowledge of business software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to pay close attention to details, multi-task, and excellent customer service skills.
  • Current CPR certification or willing to complete within 30 days of hire.


Physical Demands:

  • Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, and, sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
