About the Role
Your way into the future
The Material Expediter (m/f/x) ensures the smooth and prioritized flow of materials within the plant - both inbound to production and outbound from production to warehouse and shipping. Acting as a central coordination point across internal functions, this role prevents line stoppages, accelerates critical material flows (including finished goods), and maintains stable inventory levels for production-critical materials, consumables, and kanban systems.Join us as a Material Expediter (m/f/x) and work with us on changing the future!

- Prioritize inbound materials based on production needs and urgency
- Coordinate with Receiving, Incoming Inspection, Warehouse, and Production to ensure fast and efficient inbound material flow
- Ensure critical parts are processed rapidly from goods receipt to line availability
- Monitor and actively manage material shortages and critical part lists
- Align daily priorities with Planning andShopfloor teams
- Coordinate outbound flow of finished goods from Production to Warehouse
- Expedite finished goods through Quality Inspection when required to meetproduction and/orshipping deadlines
- Ensure continuous availability of consumables and maintain stable kanban loops
- Identify and remove bottlenecks in both inbound and outbound internal logistics flows
- Track and communicate status of critical materials, finished goods, and process delays within the plant
- Support continuous improvement of internal material flow (Lean, JIT, supermarket concepts)
What you bring with you
- Successfully completed commercial, technical, or logistics-related training
- First experience in internal logistics, material planning, warehouse operations, supply chain management in a production environment
- Strong understanding of end-to-end internal material flows (inbound to production and outbound to warehouse/shipping)
- Hands-on experience with kanban systems and consumables management
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage urgent situations under pressure, including operating effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent coordination and communication skills across shopfloor and support functions
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and hands-on approach
- Good understanding of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) and solid Excel skills
- Fluency in English
