Bodewell Group is seeking a full-time, Senior Account Executive, to join our team. The Senior Account Executive serves as the on-site communications lead for infrastructure construction projects, supporting stakeholder engagement and public outreach throughout project duration. Based on site Monday through Friday during standard business hours, acting as the primary liaison between the client, contractors, project teams and impacted communities.

Position
Location and Travel: This position is based in Sonoma County and requires the ability to work in that location. Internal candidates who are open to relocation or commuting to Sonoma County may also be considered. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided. This role is primarily based on-site Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Travel is required up to 15-20% of the time. This role will include early mornings, evenings and weekends as required.
Compensation:
The annual base amount for this position is dependent on several factors, including the candidate’s geographic location, experience, and qualifications. The annual base amount may be adjusted based on market conditions in the location where the employee resides.
A typical annual base range for this role is: $70,000– $90,000 - (actual compensation may vary by location and will follow local regulations).
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning, development, and execution of public relations, communications, and marketing initiatives across client accounts and infrastructure projects
- Serve as the on-site communications lead for infrastructure construction projects, acting as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, internal teams, and impacted communities
- Conduct research and track media coverage, social media activity, and campaign performance
- Create and manage client collateral, coordinating with design teams and ensuring deadlines are met
- Draft high-quality internal and external communications, including fact sheets, presentations, news releases, eblasts, messaging platforms, signage, and other client materials
- Plan, execute, and support client events, including community meetings, open houses, stakeholder briefings, and public engagement activities
- Develop and manage outreach timelines, project updates, and communications related to construction schedules and milestones
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents and businesses regarding project impacts, questions, and concerns
- Manage project communication channels, including voicemail and email inboxes
- Monitor construction activity from a communications perspective, flag issues, and escalate as needed
- Identify business development opportunities through networking, industry events, professional associations, and stakeholder engagement
- Provide guidance to and support junior staff, including Interns, Account Coordinators, and Account Executives
- Document outreach and engagement activities and provide regular reporting and status updates to project teams
- Additional duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Public Administration or similar preferred
- 3+ years' experience in public relations or public outreach fields
