About the Role

Description

Larson Cadillac is hiring a Journeyman Flat-Rate Technician to join our growing service team. This is a strong opportunity for experienced technicians who want consistent workflow, a professional shop environment, and the ability to maximize earning potential in a productive dealership setting.


Our Cadillac service department is built to support high productivity, with steady repair flow, modern equipment, and a team structure designed to help skilled technicians stay consistently booked and efficient.


This role is best suited for technicians who take pride in their work, can work independently in a flat-rate environment, and are motivated by performance-based earnings in a busy, well-supported shop.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform diagnostics and repair work across mechanical and electrical systems 
  • Handle drivability, engine, transmission, suspension, and A/C repairs 
  • Maintain consistent flagged hours in a production environment 
  • Complete warranty and customer-pay work accurately 
  • Work efficiently while maintaining repair quality 

What We’re Looking For

  • Journeyman-level technician experience preferred 
  • Proven ability to flag hours consistently 
  • Strong diagnostic and repair ability
  • Experience in flat-rate or high-volume shop preferred 
  • Reliable, production-focused work style

Requirements

 

  • ASE certifications are ideal. 
  • Strong automotive background 
  • 1 year minimum shop experience
  • Strong teamwork skills 
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written. 
  • Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.  
  • Must have a clean & valid driver's license.
