The Fountains also features Four Star self catering suites including various one bedroom, two bedroom and penthouse suites. The Lady Hamilton Hotel: Located in the central suburb of Gardens behind the Mount Nelson Hotel, the Lady Hamilton Hotel provides accommodation and conferencing in a quieter part of town. The outside pool is exquisite and sheltered from wind from all sides. The friendly staff welcomes travellers visiting Cape Town for business or pleasure to the Lady Hamilton. The hotel is a short walk from many historic museums, art galleries and the trendy bustle of Kloof Street. The Tulip Hotel and Conference Centre: The Tulip is a Two Star hotel with conferencing facilities on the corner of Strand and Bree Street. Accommodation is comfortable and affordable, and affords guests the chance to explore Cape Town and surrounding attractions such as the Waterfront with ease. This central hotel regularly welcomes all families, tour groups and business travellers.

Prep Cook – Boutique Hotel (Restaurant or Banquet Experience)

We are seeking a dedicated Prep Cook with experience in restaurant or banquet settings to help us deliver exceptional dining experiences. Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare ingredients and components for menu items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards

- Assist in setting up and organizing the kitchen for daily service, including banquet events

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Support the culinary team in cooking, plating, and presentation tasks as needed

- Ensure timely and efficient preparation to meet service deadlines

- Follow all safety procedures and proper handling of kitchen equipment and ingredients


Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a prep cook in a restaurant or banquet setting

- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

- Culinary training or certification is a plus but not required
