About the Role
Description
We are a fast-growing car rental company serving travelers, local customers, and business clients in Southern Utah. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, reliable vehicles, and creating a smooth rental experience from start to finish.
Position Summary
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Rental Agent to join our team in Cedar City. The Rental Agent will assist customers with reservations, vehicle rentals, check-ins/check-outs, and provide outstanding service throughout the rental process.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist with reservations, rental agreements, and vehicle returns
- Verify driver information and process payments
- Detail cars preparing them for their next rental
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Inspect vehicles before and after rentals ensure every car is clean, safe, and ready to go
- Coordinate vehicle availability and scheduling
- Upsell rental upgrades, protection packages, and additional services
- Maintain accurate records and daily reports
- Help keep office and vehicle areas organized and professional

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (no more than 2 incidents/accidents in last 3 years).
- Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check and drug screen.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
- Friendly, professional attitude with strong communication skills.
- Prior sales or customer service experience preferred (training available).
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Must work weekends
