Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.

- Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards. - Assumes responsibility for maintenance of the racetrack and racing grounds. - Maintains the appearance of the track to meet required standards; maintains plants, trees, and sHRubs and applies chemicals as needed, under supervision. - Operates a variety of vehicles, machinery, and equipment to include tractor, pick-up truck, and power and manual maintenance tools. - Performs a variety of grounds maintenance duties to include weed treatment, painting, trash collection, and operating of irrigation systems. - Performs preventative maintenance as needed; cares for and maintains all light and heavy equipment. - Notifies higher level management of any suspicious or unusual activity in a timely manner. - Attends and participates in professional group meetings; maintains awareness of new trends and innovations in the field of track and ground maintenance. - Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. - Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

- High School Diploma or equivalent and Facilities Maintenance experience in hospitality or related field, or groundskeeping/landscaping experience preferred. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a valid state Driver’s License. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to use all equipment associated with the position in a proper and safe manner. - Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and basic finishing a plus. - Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. - Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive approach to dealing with issues.
