About the Role

About Scriveiner

Infinity Brands Limited owns Scriveiner, a multi-award-winning affordable luxury brand built on British design, precision engineering, and uncompromising quality. Scriveiner started with pens, and we are about to expand into gentlemen's accessories. Our awards include the King's Award for Enterprise and eight product design awards. We were named as the 30th fastest growing privately held company in the UK by the Sunday Times. We are founder-led, highly profitable, and growing fast.

Amazon is our largest channel. We sell in all major global marketplaces. We are expanding our product range and our marketplace presence, and we need someone to own the Amazon channel with the same rigour and ambition that the Founders have employed to build the brand into what it has become.

We have built a brand that wins awards and earns serious customer loyalty. Our founders have driven Amazon growth since launch. What we need now is a sharp, commercially-driven operator to take the Amazon channel to the next level, building and managing a high-performing team, owning the P&L, and ensuring that every product we bring to market lands on Amazon with the strategy, structure, and launch execution it deserves.

The Opportunity

We are about to significantly accelerate our ability to launch new product ranges, and the business is investing in the infrastructure, the team, and the tooling to support a step-change in scale over the next three years. The Head of Amazon role was created for this precise moment.

You will be a part of our Senior Leadership Team, working closely with our Marketing, Inventory, Finance, and Product teams, ensuring that Amazon is part of a greater flywheel that propels Scriveiner to huge and consistent growth over the years to come.

You will own the Amazon P&L and set channel strategy across global marketplaces including US, UK, and EU. You will report directly to the CEO and have the decision rights and budget authority to run this channel the way it should be run.

As well as being able to see and manage the big picture, you will also need to understand and be able to step in at a tactical level when needed. For example, we will expect you to learn how to manage and run PPC to our own strategy. Only then will you be able to effectively hire and manage someone to take over this role, and ensure that things are done in the Scriveiner style.

What You Will Own

Channel Strategy & P&L Ownership

  • P&L accountability. Own Amazon CM3 across all active global marketplaces. You are responsible for revenue, margin, advertising efficiency, and cost control.
  • Channel strategy. Set the long-term vision for how Scriveiner competes on Amazon. We will expect you to first, learn our strategy, then lay out how you are going to improve upon it.
  • Business reporting. Measure what needs to be measured, report to the CEO on all key metrics, use the data to continually improve.

Amazon Account Management

  • Own the day-to-day management of the Scriveiner Amazon account across all active marketplaces.
  • Monitor account health, resolve listing issues and suppression events promptly, and maintain compliance with Amazon’s policies.
  • Liaise with the Inventory Management team to ensure stock levels are accurately reflected on Amazon and replenishment needs are flagged proactively.
  • Maintain and improve product listings  titles, bullet points, A+ content, imagery, and Brand Store  to maximise conversion, search ranking, and brand presentation.
  • Monitor and protect Buy Box performance, including price scraping risks across channels.
  • Track and report on key Amazon metrics weekly: sales, rank, TACoS, sessions, conversion rates.

PPC

  • Take full ownership of all Amazon PPC campaigns across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display. You will learn to manage PPC to our strategy first. You will then hire a specialist to fulfil this function.
  • Manage TACoS performance in line with the company’s expectations.
  • Conduct regular search term analysis, negative keyword management, and competitor monitoring.
  • Work with the business on internal PPC tooling currently in development, bringing a clear point of view on the systems and processes the channel needs to scale.

New Product Launches

  • Own the Amazon launch strategy for all new products entering the catalogue - listing creation, stock requirements, initial ranking strategies, launch PPC architecture, and post-launch optimisation.
  • Contribute to pricing strategy.
  • Partner with the product , inventory and marketing teams to ensure new product strategies are aligned with Amazon’s platform requirements, optimising offerings for visibility and conversion from day one.

Team Leadership

  • Initially you will manage an Amazon Listing Specialist. Once you have settled into the role we will expect you to oversee the hiring of a PPC specialist. You will be responsible for setting clear direction, maintaining high standards, and developing capability within each part of the Amazon team.
  • Define KPIs for individual and team performance. Drive accountability and continuous improvement across the channel.
  • As the channel grows, build the case for additional resources and shape the structure of the Amazon function over time.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with multiple teams to maximise success on Amazon and support growth across the entire business.
  • Partner with inventory management on stock levels and replenishment to prevent avoidable ranking losses.
  • Work closely with the CEO on strategic decisions, new market entry, and channel investment.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you will be successful when:

  • The Amazon P&L grows significantly year on year, with CM3 increasing as a result of deliberate strategic decisions, not just market tailwinds.
  • New product launches are set up for strong initial ranking, with well-structured launch campaigns that build momentum from day one.
  • Listings are kept fully optimised with copy, imagery and A+ content that reflect Scriveiner’s brand quality across every marketplace.
  • Account health is clean, with listing issues resolved quickly and proactively.
  • TACoS is managed in accordance with our strategy and sits within our target ranges across all markets.
  • We are recording, managing and iterating from reliable, accurate Amazon data that captures all key elements to enable us to succeed.
  • The team is well-led, well-directed, and growing in capability.

Who You Are

Essential

  • Proven experience managing and growing a multi-marketplace Seller Central account. You will have previously overseen significant growth in at least one other brand’s Amazon channel.
  • Deep PPC understanding. You can build campaign architecture from scratch, manage TACoS under pressure, and explain your decisions clearly.
  • Experience leading or managing at least one direct report. You know how to set direction, give feedback, and hold a small team to a high standard.
  • Strong commercial judgement. You can make spend, launch timing, and pricing decisions confidently, and you understand the trade-offs between short-term ranking investment, long-term ranking sustainability and contribution margin.
  • A clear, credible communicator. You can clearly explain and communicate channel performance, translate data into insight, and identify the critical data that will allow us to move the needle. You will not just measure everything and get lost in the detail.
  • Solid understanding of Amazon brand management Buy Box mechanics, listing quality, A+ content, and what it takes to maintain a premium brand’s integrity in a multi-marketplace environment.
  • You will be ambitious, high energy, curious and have a great attitude. We do things differently to many brands. Previously we achieved >100% growth per year over multiple years. This is the level of performance we want.

Desirable

  • Background in premium, lifestyle, gifting, or accessories categories. You understand what it means to protect brand equity on Amazon, not just chase volume.
  • Experience with international marketplace launches or expansion.
  • Familiarity with EU marketplace compliance considerations, VAT, regulatory requirements, cross-border logistics.
  • Experience contributing to or commissioning Amazon tooling, reporting automation, or internal analytics builds.

Why Join

  • Ability to own a channel that will help drive Scriveiner to become one of the largest pens and gentlemen’s accessories brands in the world.
  • Direct access to founders who are deeply engaged with product quality and will be genuine partners in the work.5tr
  • A brand with real proof: King’s Award for Enterprise, eight design awards, highly profitable, well resourced, fast growing and ambitious.
  • The opportunity to take a high-performing Amazon channel and scale it, with the authority to shape how it operates, what it prioritises, and where it goes next.
  • A growing and expanding product portfolio across multiple categories with the scope to drive how each one performs on the platform.
  • Meaningful financial upside through a performance bonus that has the potential to be larger than the base salary if the channel delivers to our expectations.

Compensation & Benefits

  • £75,000–£100,000 base salary per annum.
  • Significant annual performance bonus tied directly to Amazon P&L growth. This is a meaningful part of the total package. If you achieve the targets we are looking for, over time your bonus will become larger than your base salary.
