Bartender

Overview:

Nestled in the heart of Columbus' historic German Village, Sycamore is an all-day café and restaurant. Join our team of passionate hospitality professionals committed to delivering exceptional food, beverage, and service in a casual, yet elegant, environment. For this position, we are seeking a friendly, upbeat, and customer-focused candidate that can thrive in a positive work environment and deliver on high standards with enthusiasm.  

Responsibilities:

• Building positive relationships with guests and surrounding communities
• Adhere to patrons needs in a timely manner
• Attain exceptional knowledge on both food and beverage menus
• Maintain safety of guests by monitoring alcohol consumption and checking for proper identification
• Establish rapport with new and regular customers
• Mixing cocktails - using correct measurements for liquor pours and other ingredients.
• Following all safety and sanitation procedures as well as restaurant protocols 

Qualifications: 

• Basic computer literacy
• Basic math skills
• 21+ to apply
• 2+ years of bartending experience and 2+ years of high-end cocktail mixing
• Wine knowledge a plus but not necessary
• Coffee knowledge a plus but not necessary
• Available to work nights/weekends/select holidays
