About the Role


  1. Greets donors within 10 seconds of arrival in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner.  
  2.  Assist donors with the unloading of donations from vehicles, trailers, etc. 
  3.  Offer and provide tax receipts to donors. 
  4.  Maintains accurate daily counts of donations.  
  5.  Process donations according to GGC Processing Procedures. 
  6.  Use proper safety procedures when lifting heavy items, handling sharp items, chemicals and wrapping fragile items.  
  7.  Maintains a neat, clean, and organized donation drive-through and work area. 
  8.  Reviews and utilizes current Consumer Product Safety Commission Recall publications to prevent unsafe items from being sold in the store.  
  9. Assist customers with loading furniture and other large items. 
  10.  Remove large, purchased items from sales floor, properly tag, and store items in the appropriate will-call section for customer pick-up. 
  11. Assists truck driver with loading and unloading truck.  
  12. Assist with cleaning and maintain the cleanliness of the sales floor and restrooms. 
  13. Always adheres to Memphis Goodwill safety rules. 
  14.  Attends in-service and related training as assigned by TLC.  
  15.  Other duties as assigned by the TLC and/or ATL.
