About the Role

Description

 

We are looking for an organized and experienced Trainer to join our organization. This is an on-site position in our Billings, Montana office.


POSITION SUMMARY:  

The Trainer is responsible for delivering engaging and effective training programs that equip employees with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed. This role supports training initiatives across the organization, including new hire onboarding, uptraining, campaign-specific instruction, and ongoing employee development. The Trainer will create training materials, conduct group and one-on-one training sessions, track trainee progress, and partner closely with leadership to identify training needs and improve workforce capability. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and ongoing training sessions (virtual, in-person, and blended), ensuring employees understand processes, systems, and expectations. 
  • Develop, update, and maintain training materials—including manuals, presentations, job aids, FAQs, and campaign support content—and ensure accuracy and accessibility. 
  • Provide hands-on training, daily coaching, and uptraining support; monitor trainee progress, assess knowledge, document results, and communicate concerns or performance risks to leadership. 
  • Support employee development by delivering professional and leadership training, assisting with mentorship program planning and facilitation. 
  • Collaborate with trainers and department leaders to assess training needs and implement effective learning solutions. 
  • Respond to employee questions and provide guidance on systems, processes, and campaign-related inquiries. 
  • Manage administrative tasks related to training sessions, including new hire timekeeping/payroll entries and reporting training trends or needs to leadership. 
  • Maintain a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational training goals. 

KEY SKILLS:  

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills; able to communicate clearly and confidently to groups of all sizes. 
  • Demonstrated ability to design, organize, and implement effective training materials and learning experiences. 
  • Ability to adapt training methods to meet various learning styles and use multimedia instructional tools. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail. 
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain professionalism while coaching employees with varying skill levels. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. 
  • Collaborative mindset; able to work effectively with trainers, leadership, and cross-functional partners. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, training platforms, and learning management systems (LMS) preferred. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Must be 18 years of age or older. 
  • At least 2 years of experience in training, employee development, coaching, or related field (call center or customer support environment preferred). 
  • Experience facilitating group training sessions and developing training materials. 
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and training priorities. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume training environments. 
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and training best practices. 
  • Experience using e-learning tools, training platforms, or digital content creation software. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Prolonged periods of sitting.  
  • Perform repetitive tasks such as typing and clicking. 
  • Must be able to lift and move light items up to 20 pounds at times.  
  • Must be able to bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and sit.
