Help Renovate the Systems Behind Exceptional Pools

Every great pool depends on the equipment behind the scenes. From filtration and circulation systems to pump room upgrades and equipment replacements, our team helps customers keep their facilities operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations.


We're looking for a Senior Estimator to join our Renovation & Service team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys estimating, project planning, code compliance, and working closely with customers and project teams to deliver successful renovation projects.

What You'll Do

Estimating & Project Development

  • Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for pool equipment, pump room, service, and renovation projects.
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather information needed to develop project scopes and pricing.
  • Review project requirements, equipment specifications, and renovation needs to create comprehensive proposals.
  • Follow up on submitted estimates and support customers throughout the proposal process.
  • Obtain and evaluate pricing from trade partners, suppliers, and vendors.

Project Coordination

  • Partner with Project Managers to schedule and execute renovation and service projects.
  • Coordinate activities with trade partners, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects remain on track.
  • Assist with forecasting labor and staffing requirements for upcoming work.
  • Prepare purchase orders for materials, equipment, supplies, and subcontracted services.
  • Monitor project costs and revenues while maintaining accurate project records.

Permitting & Compliance

  • Prepare and submit Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) permit applications and supporting documentation.
  • Serve as the internal point of contact and subject matter expert on MDH requirements and regulations.
  • Review project designs, equipment selections, and system specifications to ensure compliance with applicable health, plumbing, mechanical, and building codes.
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, trade partners, and regulatory agencies to obtain approvals and maintain compliance throughout project execution.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes and industry best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of estimating, project management, construction, mechanical systems, plumbing, industrial, or related experience.
  • Experience with equipment replacement projects, mechanical systems, water treatment systems, commercial pools, plumbing, or specialty construction trades is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Reliable transportation for travel to project sites.
