We are currently searching for a full-time Delivery Driver for our San Antonio location. This individual will be driving either a 26-foot box truck or a cargo van while making deliveries. This position is responsible for delivering orders to our customers (up to a 200-mile radius), as well as working in the warehouse in shipping and receiving while not delivering. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, normal business hours.


Essential Functions:

  • Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
  • Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
  • Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
  • Load daily deliveries onto the truck or van and unload or assist in unloading customers' deliveries in their specified unloading location.
  • Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
  • Turn in signed pick tickets and packing lists from deliveries.
  • Read maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
  • Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to the office or warehouse.
  • Perform emergency repairs, such as changing tires or installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chains, and spark plugs.
  • Report to customer service any product or delivery issue that customers communicate to you.
  • Coordinate with customer service to pick up returns from customers by first obtaining an RMA from customer service. Ensure that items you are picking up for return match what is on the RMA.

Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $20-24 per hour

Requirements

Position Qualifications:

  • Must have a clean driving record, drug test, and background check
  • Longevity in prior employment
  • Previous delivery/warehouse experience preferred
  • Positive attitude with a customer-focused mindset
  • Shows initiative and enjoys working as a team
  • Strong ability to work independently

Education & Experience:

Education: High school graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required

Certificate & Licenses: Valid driver's license required. CLD not required for this position. 

Experience: Six months to one year of related experience
