We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to perform and lead advanced maintenance activities across community assets, facilities, and infrastructure. This role is responsible for executing and supporting preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting complex issues, and providing day-to-day leadership to maintenance staff and contractors to ensure high standards of safety, functionality, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced maintenance and repair across building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facilities
- Develop, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment failure and extend asset life
- Lead and support maintenance staff, providing direction, training, and oversight of daily work
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues using sound judgment and technical expertise
- Coordinate and oversee contractors and vendors, including scheduling, materials, and quality control
- Estimate time, materials, and scope for maintenance and repair projects
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and risks
- Ensure maintenance activities are completed in alignment with schedules, standards, and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
- Support emergency response and on-call maintenance needs as required

Knowledge & Experience
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or lead role
- Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
- Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred:
- Technical degree or certification in HVAC, electrical, construction, or related trade
- Experience in a large-scale community, commercial property, or similar environment
- Familiarity with work order or maintenance tracking systems
Work Environment
- Combination of indoor and outdoor work, including exposure to weather conditions
- Regular physical activity including walking, lifting, and equipment use
- May require evenings, weekends, or emergency response
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $24 to $28.85 per hour, based on experience
