Why do we need you? 

To mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons of bar, following  standard recipes.   


 

What you will do: 

  1. Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare  cocktails and other drinks.    
  2. Serve wine and other draught or bottled beer.   
  3. Collect money for drinks served.    
  4. Order and requisition liquors and supplies.   
  5. Place bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display.    
  6. May slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.    
  7. May prepare appetizers, such as pickles, cheese, and cold meats.   
  8. Perform in compliance with established company policies and procedures.    
  9. Perform in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations. 
  10. Responsible for compliance with all state and local regulations pertaining to the  public operation of the hotel’s bar area, including maximum safe occupancy,  emergency exit accessibility, smoke-free area maintenance.  
  11. Responsible for knowing and recognizing in-state and out-of-state drivers  licenses and state-issued identification cards.   
  12. Required to be always in uniform when working on the property, including  wearing a name identification badge.   
  13. Support and adhere to the core values, the mission statement, service  fundamentals, and guest service philosophy as defined by the company.     
  14. All other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor. 

Skills and abilities you bring: 

  • Use arithmetic to total costs and make change.
  • Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, services, and local  attractions. 
  • Stand or walk for varying lengths of time, sometimes for long periods. 
  • Move fingers and hands easily and quickly to handle things like dishes, money,  and merchandise. 
  • Lift and carry things like heavy trays.

Schedule & Hours:

This position is part time, with a rotating schedule (Monday – Sunday). Ability to work any scheduled days of the week and times of the day may vary based on business need, including holidays is required.
