1st shift Manufacturing Custodian

Description

Our company is seeking a Manufacturing Custodian to join our team. The Manufacturing Custodian will be responsible for cleaning out CNC machines, cleaning the floors, and performing basic manufacturing custodial duties.

Responsibilities:

• Clean out CNC machines to ensure they are free of debris and ready for the next use
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform basic manufacturing housekeeping duties such as wiping down surfaces, emptying trash cans, and organizing work areas
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for all employees
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in manufacturing environment or a related field preferred
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and pressure washers
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and ability to report issues to the appropriate personnel
