Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in team meetings and leverage senior team members for knowledge and direction
  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure operational excellence
  • Perform general equipment maintenance including preventative maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and working on and around machinery
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical supply circuits up to 120 VAC
  • Troubleshoot and repair or replace electrical motors
  • Follow all written work instructions including SOPs, technical manuals, and assembly instructions
  • Identify and use the right tool for the right job
  • Demonstrate continued proficiency in CMMS software and Microsoft Suite
  • Maintain operational readiness of compressed air sources
  • Perform hydraulic system maintenance
  • Perform occasional MIG or TIG welding
  • Perform industrial maintenance and construction tasks such as painting, electrical, office lighting, carpentry, welding, machining, sheet metal work, and plumbing
  • Support Lean 5S initiatives to achieve a workplace that is clean, uncluttered, safe, and well organized to help reduce waste and optimize productivity
  • Must be able to work independently and/or in a team environment
  • Other duties as assigned

This position requires use of information and data which is subject to US Export Regulations, including but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 22 C.F.R. 120 et seq., and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), 15 C.F.R. 730 et seq. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S Government.


Minimum Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder
  • Must pass initial and subsequent background checks
  • Must pass preemployment and subsequent drug screenings
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain eligibility to drive fleet
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, decimals, fractions)
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Maintain Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives “Employee Possessor” eligibility
  • Must be able to work in an environment containing devices that may interfere with the operation of a pacemaker
  • Ability to pass a respirator fit test within 30 days
  • Ability to obtain confined space certification within 30 days of employment
  • Ability to obtain forklift operator certification via Valor’s within 30 days of employment

Physical Requirements

  • RARE (less than 10%): crawling, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs., push, pull, climb stairs
  • OCCASSIONAL (up to 33%): standing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, body-twisting, sense of touch, manual dexterity, lifting over 10 lbs. to 50 lbs., reaching, range-of-motion, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, climbing stairs, balancing.
  • FREQUENT (up to 66%): walking, sitting, reading, lifting up to 10 lbs., gripping
  • CONTINUOUS (up to 100%): speaking clearly, seeing distant, seeing, hearing-speech-range, depth-perception.
