This is more than a fundraising role—it's an opportunity to be a storyteller, community builder, event planner, volunteer champion, and advocate for a mission that matters. You'll play a vital role in securing resources, engaging donors, coordinating events, managing grants, and inspiring others to invest in the future of our community.
What You'll Do:
• Build and strengthen relationships with donors, volunteers, and community partners
• Manage grant processes, reporting, and funding opportunities
• Coordinate and oversee fundraising and community engagement events
• Develop engaging social media and communication strategies
• Lead and grow volunteer recruitment and engagement efforts
• Share the mission, impact, and needs of the organization in a compelling and inspiring way

Requirements
Education/Training/Experience:
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Two years of related experience required.
- Thorough understanding of fundraising fundamentals.
- Proven track record of increasing fundraising revenue and growing donor engagements.
- Experience with professional social media management.
- Maintain attention to details.
- Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent diplomatic skills.
- Ability to organize and establish objectives and priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experienced and/or willing to learn the adopted donor CRM for all tracking of all donor relations, including but not limited to grant timelines, donor notes, fundraising campaigns, communication, etc.
- Positive and professional communication skills.
- Strong organization and writing skills.
- Positive team member skills.
- Means and capacity to perform job-related duties with personal vehicle and cell phone.
Licensures/Certifications:
- First Aid/CPR certified preferred
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- DHW Criminal Fingerprinting and Background Enhanced Certification
- Clearance with the National Sex Offender Registry
