Assistant Inspector of Works - Signalling & Communications (Operations Projects) (Ref.: 260000GV)

Responsibilities
- Supervise the signalling and communication contractors for the operating railway projects to ensure that projects works are completed safely, timely, within budget and in compliance with specified requirements on safety, quality and environment standards
- Monitor site construction works including work progress and quality of workmanship, participate in testing and commissioning, manage site records, assist in reviewing design submissions and ensure quality of as-built drawings
Requirements
- Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Transport Studies, Telecommunications, Control & Automation, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience in construction works
- Knowledge of multi-disciplinary contracts and solid experience in operating railway projects with good interpersonal skills are advantages
Remarks
- Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
- Overnight shift duties may be required
