We’ve made a commitment to reduce our plastic footprint and brought in disposable, compostable eating utensils and straws. We also recycle our fryer oil into bio fuel and compost all food waste and employ green building techniques in our new locations, including LED light bulbs, hand dryers, aerators on faucets, water-saving toilets and drought resistant landscaping. Responsible sourcing commitment: As a member of the Seafood Watch program, we are committed to sourcing seafood from Environmentally Responsible Sources as defined by the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We believe wild caught and responsibly raised seafood fits beautifully on the same menu, as one ensures the life of the other. Joint industry efforts: Through our James Beard Smart Catch partnership, we have a chance to use our sourcing program to support industry efforts to maintain healthy, sustainable food sources for now and for future generations.

Host Busser

We are looking for Host Bussers that believe in treating our Guests with first-class service and incredible hospitality! SCHEDULE

This is a part-time, non-exempt position. Hours may be different every week and schedules are not set or guaranteed. Weekend availability is a must.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Be the face of Pacific Catch, engaging with Guests, inviting Guests in, seating Guests, introducing the menu, and answering the phone
  • Ability to provide top-notch hospitality in a fast-paced environment 
  • Respond to questions—know where to find information if unknown
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant Team Members
  • Adaptable, flexible, and able to manage a heavy workload. Ability to prioritize and remember Guest requests
  • Embraces all Pacific Catch’s Core Values, Hospitality Standards, and Team Member Standards
  • Ability to operate a POS system
  • Maintain table waitlist
  • Assist with beverage service during peak seating times
  • Ability to accurately handle cash and all financial transactions
  • Clear, clean, set and re-set tables with complete place settings (silverware, glasses, dishes, and napkins), and as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining areas and common areas (tables, counters, equipment, restroom, and floors)
  • Exercise care with all restaurant equipment, dishes, silverware, and glasses to ensure minimum breakage
  • During any down time, proactively assist other Team Members or as requested by Leaders
  • Notify Leadership team of any comments, suggestions or complaints from any Guests

COMPENSATION

  • $19.18 Per Hour


Requirements

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • High school education is required; Hospitality or other degrees are a plus.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in the restaurant/customer service industry preferred.

PHYSICAL

  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
