Job Description

  • Lead the establishment and governance of a requirements management framework across projects by administering and optimizing the requirements database (e.g., DOORS), including its structure, controls, versioning, and integration, while ensuring end-to-end traceability, enforcing quality standards and review processes, and supporting stakeholders through training, coaching, and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate systems engineering and integration across multiple venues and domains by defining and managing interfaces between systems and delivery partners, addressing cross-venue dependencies and risks, and supporting integration planning, staging, readiness, and operational transition.
  • Apply systems engineering best practices across the lifecycle by managing requirements, interfaces, verification and validation, and configuration control, ensuring alignment with recognized standards (e.g., ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288), and supporting the development of system architectures and concepts of operations aligned to event delivery needs.
  • Engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders—including venue delivery teams, technology providers, and government agencies—by facilitating requirements workshops and integration forums, providing clear, evidence-based advice on status and risks, and acting as a key interface between engineering, operations, and program management teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Systems Engineering on complex, large-scale programs across infrastructure, technology, or major events.
  • Strong expertise in requirements management, particularly using IBM DOORS (administration and advanced user capability).
  • Proven ability to manage requirements and interfaces in multi-stakeholder, integrated environments, handling complexity and competing priorities.
  • Solid understanding of the full systems engineering lifecycle, including V&V, configuration management, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
