Position Details
The School Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors, helping create a welcoming and organized school environment. This role supports daily front office operations, manages communications, and works collaboratively with administrative staff to ensure smooth school operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently work with and lead alongside other school receptionists and front office staff
- Greet students, families, staff, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Cultivate positive relationships with children and families to support a welcoming school culture
- Ensure accurate, timely responses to communication requests by phone and email
- Maintain organized student, visitor, and administrative records
- Support scheduling, appointment coordination, and front desk operations
- Assist with student check-in/check-out procedures and visitor management
- Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families regarding school information
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Provide general administrative support as needed
- Willingness to assist with time sensitive administrative projects
Title: Front Desk Receptionist
Reports To: Director of Enrollment & Engagement
Position Type: Part-time, hourly, non-exempt
Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays and every other Friday, 7:30 am - 3:45 pm (40-42 weeks during the school year)
Wage Range: $21.00 – $23.50 (depending on experience)
Location: Cherry Hills Christian School – Highlands Ranch, CO
