Manager, Facilities

Description
The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations across a multi-state portfolio of offices, warehouses, yards, and field support locations. This role leads facility maintenance, vendor performance, compliance, budgeting, capital improvements, site searches, and lease-related activity to ensure locations remain operationally ready and scalable to support business growth.
What you will do:
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations across offices, warehouses, yards, and field locations, including maintenance, repairs, utilities, access control, and site readiness
- Manage vendors, service contracts, invoices, and operating budgets while driving service quality and cost control across locations in multiple states
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, fire/life safety, ADA, and other regulatory requirements, including inspections, permits, and incident documentation
- Coordinate site openings, moves, expansions, consolidations, decommissions, and capital improvement projects across the portfolio
- Lead site searches and support lease negotiations, renewals, and real estate coordination in partnership with operations, construction, fleet, finance, and legal teams
- Maintain facility records, provide leadership updates, and serve as a primary point of contact for facility-related issues
Requirements
What you will need:
- Strong data management and analytical skills is a must
- 3+ years of experience in facilities, property, or operations management within a multi-site environment
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, contracts, maintenance programs, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting warehouses, yards, site searches, and operational facility needs
- Experience supporting lease negotiations, renewals, or real estate coordination
- CMMS or project management experience
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to walk offices, warehouses, yards, and job sites as needed
- Regular travel between offices, warehouses, yards, and other field locations is required
