Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Senior Auditor to join the firm as part of our Accounting team. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Our ideal team member is passionate and progressively seeking more responsibilities to expand their expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Support internal and external audits (domestic and international) by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff and interns involved in the governance functions and supporting the accounting team.
  • Perform reviews of current processes and controls across transaction cycles to assess risk and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure proper documentation and financial accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Assist in developing and documenting standard operating procedures, accounting policies, and process and control narratives.
  • Assist in timely and accurate tax filings and payments, including federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate with external audit and tax service providers and oversee execution and fulfillment of requests.
  • Help support Accounting and Company leadership with ad hoc requests.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives related to accounting and financial reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, or 3 years public accounting experience.
  • CPA required
  • Knowledge and experience with ASC 606 Revenue Recognition preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Deltek VantagePoint experience a plus

 

This position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Regular, reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
